- Aluminum was the second album from NYC band Gods Child, littered with damaged guitars, distressed mellotron, and raw vocals. Produced by Tim Palmer (who has worked with such acts as Pearl Jam, Sponge, and Mission UK) the album features a spaced-out aura, solid musicianship and soaring sonics.
Crystal Quest Whole House Iron Manganese 1.5 Water Filter System Aluminum Silicate Media
No chemical regeneration is required and nothing is imparted into the drinking water. For the filter to effectively remove iron, the pH of the raw water must be greater than 6.8. If both Iron and Manganese are present, the pH should be between 7.5 and 8.5. For Manganese removal the pH should be between 8.0 and 9.0 for best results. Operated under proper conditions, the filter media filter requires no chemical for maintenance and regeneration is not required. Iron removal efficiency is extremely high, with only periodic backwashing required. The filter media is a durable material with a long life and a wide temperature range. Water travels through 3 stages of filtration: First stage, a 20" sediment filter cartridge that removes sediment, silt, s

FRAM CF10135 Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter
Outside air flowing through the vehicle's ventilation system can expose passengers to road dust and pollen. FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filters can filter 98% of these contaminants (particles ranging from 5-100 microns). Each FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter contains Arm & Hammer backing soda and carbon which are embedded into the filter to absorb odors and freshen the air.
The FRAM Fresh Breeze cabin air filter is an easy to install air filter that both filters and deodorizes the air drawn into your vehicle, as well as improves available airflow critical to the efficient workings of air conditioning and heating systems. Designed utilizing the first of its kind mix of active carbon and baking soda woven into the fibers of the filter, it has the ability to remove up to 98% of contaminants that drivers, passengers and vehicle air ducts are exposed to, while also providing twice the protection against commonly occurring odors than other cabin air filters.

What is a Cabin Air Filter?
Not nearly as well-known as familiar oil and standard air filters, many drivers may never even have heard of a cabin air filter. Usually located either inside the passenger compartment near the glove compartment, or under the hood near the windshield, they are used to filter air drawn into your car from the outside for the comfort of passengers, as well as for use by air conditioning and heating systems. They are designed to minimize particles both large and small, as well as allergens and other contaminants and are used in approximately 80% of the vehicles built since the 2000 model year. It is recommended that they be replaced on either an annual basis, or every 15,000 miles. Like any other automotive filter, neglecting to do this can lead to possible risks to your vehicle and/or passengers, in this case including impeded performance of your heating or air conditioning systems by limiting the flow of fresh clean air used by those systems, as well as possible corrosion inside the system and musty or even noxious air vented throughout the vehicle.
Removes up to 98% of road dust, pollen and other contaminants, as well as most common odors. View larger.
Unique Carbon/Baking Powder Technology
The FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter utilizes a unique technology that combines the natural filtering properties of activated carbon and the renowned deodorizing properties of Arm & Hammer baking soda. Infused together within the filter's folds this allows for the removal of 98% of road dust and road pollen* that your vehicle's air circulation system takes in. In addition, this combination also allows for superior protection against odors drawn from outside sources, providing twice the ability to deodorize common odors compared to filters not treated with carbon and baking soda.
Premium Efficiency - Filters 98% of road dust and road pollen dramatically improving in-vehicle air quality*
Improved Air Flow - Periodic replacing of cabin air filters improves air intake air flow used in heating and air conditioning systems
Odor Absorption - The FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter packs twice the ability to deodorize common odors drawn from outside sources compared to filters not treated with carbon and baking soda
Fresh Essence - The FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter removes the reoccurring musty smell that can develop in air conditioning and heating systems
Easy to Install - Installs quickly and easily in most cars in minutes with minimal, or even no tools, depending on car model
FRAM filters are warranted against defects in design, materials and workmanship. New vehicle warranties remain in effect when FRAM filters are installed according to directions on FRAM filter packaging and replaced at least as often as vehicle manufacturer's recommended change intervals.
Today FRAM is known as America's number one oil filter brand, and the FRAM team continues to manufacture and market a variety of quality oil, air and fuel filters, as well as many automotive accessories such as PCV valves, crankcase filters and transmission modulators.

Canon filter set for 50mm f/1.2 LTM
One of the 2 filter sets from Canon that is specifically marked for the lens. This 55mm slimline filter set is for Canon 50mm f/1.2 LTM and the other is the 58mm filter set for the Canon 85mm f/1.5 LTM. These filters only have screw threads on one side.
Generically marked with thread size filter sets are much more common. Usually with the thread size on one size and the type on the opposite side of the filter ring.
Most unfortunately, there is one piece missing in this set. The matching bakelite case is also very brittle and hard to find in good condition.
Oh frabjous day!
My new lens has arrived and I am so very pleased. Well, I'm not totally pleased with how heavy it is compared to my two previous lenses, but I'm spoiled with how light (and plastic) they are. It performed as expected with my first test shots and I can't wait to get out and take more this weekend.
Notice how all of them have different filter sizes, so I can't buy ANYTHING that gets shared between them.
My collection is GROWING.

"These filter bags are made of a micron-rated felt, a non-woven fabric. Small polymer fibers of varying diameters and lengths are forced into a matrix. One side is singed, a process that further locks the filaments together on the downstream surface. This fabric does not produce an absolute filtration but rather a range based on generally accepted industry tests. Mandy factors influence the actual filtration including the shape, size, consistency and loading of the contaminates. Also, the feed pressure and rate of flow affects the filtration results.
These felts have a far higher dirt capacity and flow rate than a flat woven type bag and is much more resistant to blinding (clogging). The material is meant to be disposable and does not clean as well as a woven material.
Polyester filter bags can be used for filtering any liquid. There is a handle strap which can be used for hanging them from a pipe or something similar for gravity filtration. They can also be pressurized by using a filter adapter head and a pump for faster and unattended filtering. Using a pump/adapter combo is highly recommended so you can get the longest life out of your bags and not have to wait around all day to filter when they are clogging.
What bags should you be using? Use coarse bags for initial filtering. Do not jump right to the 1 micron. It's a waste of money. Start with at least 100 micron and work your way down as many steps as possible. bags can be stuffed inside of each other for multiple micron size passes in one filtering session. About 34 bags can be fit onto an adapter head to use with a pump. if done right, you will need more coarse bags than fine bags. 1 micron bags should rarely have to be changed while 50 and 100 micron bags will need to be changed many times collecting the bulk of the debris. Let the coarse bags do all the work for your final filtering bags.
When filtering WVO make sure the oil is at least 100 degrees so all fats are melted.

UV filter comparison - #1
I thought maybe the UV filter on my 70-200 f/2.8 L, which was on the lens when I bought it, was making images a little blurry. I compared it with my new $80ish UV filter that I've had on my 17-40, and not only was the sharpness different, but so was the color.
This is with the old filter, a brandless 77mm UV Haze filter.
Both photos were shot with identical shutter speed, iso, exposure, and focal length. I shot handheld, so there is a slight shift, and the trees blowing in the background make the bokeh colors a little different.
Multiple shots showed similar color difference.

2006 Honda DAX 150 DOHC
Double Overhead camshaft engine, 150 cc, liquid cooled, 4 valves, 28 Keihin CV carburator with K&N filter, double open carbon fiber exhausts.
22 Horsepower at 11000 RPM. only 78 kg (!)
Topspeed 140 Km/h.
The only one in the world !
The engine came from a Honda CBR 150 R.
The under-side of the dax-frame is completely build by myself.
The biggest part of the whole frame is petrol-tank now, so instead of the original 2,3 litres I can tank almost 10 litres of petrol now !
Exhaust systeme is also homemade, the parts of it came from a crashed Ducati racer.
The rear-fork is made much stronger to stay in one pease with the increased power.
Standard engine was a 6 horsepower 110 cc SOHC-engine.
Every orange part is powdercoated, the tires are Michelin semi-slicks.
It was a nice job and it is a delight to ride this little beast, because of the double open race-exhaust together with the 28 Keihin and shouting K&N, it sounds like a superbike at full battle !
But it is also possible make a nice and pleasant tour.
